LOVE/HATE returns for a fifth season. Nidge (Tom Vaughan Lawlor) is once again king of all he surveys. The debilitating paranoia that grew from his guilt – over Darren, over Linda, everything he’s done – has passed as he has narrowly avoided prison following Moynihan’s surveillance operation. But he’s had to take out a huge loan from an Irish drug dealer based in Spain. And there’s a caveat...

The second series of The Fall picks up immediately where series one left off, with Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) in pursuit of Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan). A personal link from Spector’s past opens up some clues for Gibson but provokes Spector in way that threatens to jeopardise the whole investigation. Gibson is forced to take ever greater risks but the closer she comes to capturing him, the more Spector trespasses into her private world, delighting in taunting and provoking her. As the net gradually tightens around him he becomes psychologically ever more dangerous and destructive. Written by Allan Cubitt (The Hanging Gale, The Boys Are Back, Prime Suspect 2), series one of The Fall received international critical acclaim.
As Fair City celebrates its 25th season, Ireland’s favourite home-grown soap sees the marriage of Niamh (Clelia Murphy) and Paul (Tony Tormey) tested once more as Niamh’s true feelings for Michael (Richard McWilliams) refuse to go away. Dan (Steve Gunn) reveals his true colours after an old acquaintance, Robbie Quinn (Karl Sheils), arrives in Carrigstown and stirs up old memories from the past that Dan would rather forget. Christy (Tom Hopkins) gets a surprise visitor when his daughter Farrah (Caroline Harvey) returns home from New Zealand to help care for him after his stroke, but could her presence cause more harm than good? In the four times weekly instalments of Fair City, romances will blossom, hearts will be broken and, as ever, danger and deception will never be too far away.
